Denny & Carol Cook, President & Vice-President (Owners)

Denny started the company with his wife Carol in 1978. Denny and Carol are long time members of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) organization.

Denny is active in the Youth Service Bureau, Crawfordsville City Council, and the First Christian Church. Denny’s NATE Certifications include: Heat Pumps; Gas Heating & Air Conditioners; all York, American Standard and Lennox technical and equipment training; Mitsubishi "Mr Slim" Ductless Systems; ACCA Manual J8 Residential Load Calculation and ACCA Manual D Duct System Design; Hydronic & Steam Boilers; Geothermal Systems & In-Floor Heating Systems.

Denny is responsible for all company operations and directly manages technician development and training.

Carol is active in the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce and the First Christian Church. Carol is responsible for all company operations and directly manages the marketing, customer service and service repair departments. Carol’s great ideas spark our marketing campaigns!

Garrett, Sales/Operations Manager

Garrett joined the family business in 2005. Since then, he has overseen the sales department. Garrett has completed training in: ACCA Manual J8 Residential Load Calculation; ACCA Manual D Duct System Design;, Mitsubishi "City-Multi" Diamond Design; York Affinity Furnace training and Introduction of Air Conditioning Theory & Design. Garrett is a member of ACCA "MIX-GROUP". The group meets semi-annually to discuss issues concerning the HVAC industry. Cook Heating & Air was one of twelve companies selected from sixty-two applicants who applied to be in the group! Garrett has served on the Board of Directors for the Heating & Air Conditioning Alliance of Indiana since 2007. The Alliance deals with state codes and local issues within the HVAC industry.

Mark, Installation Department Manager

Mark has been with Cook Heating & Air Conditioning since 1998. Mark is responsible for all new equipment and ductwork installations. Mark’s NATE certifications include: Gas Heating; Air Conditioning & Heat Pumps; Hydronic Heating Additionally, Mark has completed the following training: York Technical & Equipment; American Standard Gas Furnace, Heat Pumps, Air Conditioners & Commercial Product Lines; Lennox Gas Furnace, Air Conditioner & Heat Pumps; Mitsubishi "Mr Slim" Ductless Systems, Fujitsu Ductless Systems & Air Conditioning trouble shooting; Jackson System's zoning systems (Z-200, Z-300, Z-600 & Z-2000); Hydronic and Geothermal Systems.

Mark has extensive knowledge in sheet metal and fiberglass ductboard construction. He is responsible for all technician training and quality assurances within the installation department.

Tom, Service Technician

Tom has been with Cook Heating & Air since 2006. Tom has gained valuable industry training experience while working with Mark and Denny. Tom works on the majority of residential installation projects and all commercial projects. Additionally, he trains associate installation technicians. Tom is certified in: EPA refrigerant & R-410A refrigerant; Jackson Systems zoning systems (Z-200, Z-300, Z-600 & Z-2000); has attended York Modulating Gas Furnace, York Heat Pumps & Air Conditioners, American Standard Gas Furnaces, Heat Pumps & Air Conditioners, Lennox Gas Furnaces, Air Conditioner, Heat Pumps and Fujitsu Ductless Mini-Split training. Tom is certified in NATE Core, Gas Heating, Heat Pump & Air Conditioners.

Troy, Service & Maintenance Technician

Troy has been with the company since 2007. He first studied in the HVAC Tri-Vocational Program in High School. He began working with the installation team and later moved to the service department where he currently performs annual maintenance and service repairs. Troy has gained valuable industry experience while training with Denny. Troy is certified in: EPA refrigerant & R-410A refrigerant; Jackson Systems zoning systems (Z-200, Z-300, Z-600, Z-2000 and Zone-One); and has completed training in: York Modulating Gas Furnace; American Standard Heat Pump & Air Conditioning; Lennox Gas Furnace & Heat Pumps. Troy is currently preparing for his NATE Core and Gas Heating Specialty exams.

Abbie, Customer Service Representative

Abbie was born in Seoul, South Korea, but has lived in Crawfordsville all but 3 months of her life. She is 24 years old and attended Crawfordsville High school, where she graduated with Honors in 2005. She attended Manchester College in North Manchester, Indiana. Abbie has had many jobs that have utilized the role of being a successful customer service representative. They range from working at Dari-licious throughout high school, to working at the Crawfordsville Country Club, and a variety of office jobs. She attends St. Johns Episcopal with her boyfriend, Cory and their daughter Sophia Grace. Abbie's favorite part of her job is getting to know and talk to customers as well as working for the Cooks.

Angie, Office Manager

Angie is the friendly voice you hear on the other end of the line when you call in! She has been with the Cook Heating & Air team since 2008. She is responsible for keeping schedules flowing smoothly and answering customer service calls. Angie’s experience includes 13 years in customer service; much of that time was spent as a senior staffing advisor at Kelly Services. She enjoys making sure that customer’s needs are met and can always be counted on to go the extra mile to make sure the office runs smoothly and efficiently. Angie and husband Ryan have two daughters.
